该研究回顾了近期关于澳门高等校教学語言的研究（张璟玮、林洁2018，Lam 2017，等等）。通过对這些案例的分析，研究探讨语言管理的各个方面，现有的语言政策和语言管理框架因此得到整合和统一。然后，應用語言管理的新框架，研究讨论教學語言的選擇對澳门高等教育的未来发展會產生什麼樣的影響。
Abstract: The study reviews a number of recent studies on the medium of instruction in higher education in Macau in the perspectives of language planning. While the dimensions of language management are explored with the analysis of the case studies, the existing frameworks of language policy and language management are integrated and unified. The choice of medium of instruction in higher education as a language policy is then placed in the new framework with a discussion on the future development of higher education in Macau.
主讲人简介：
徐大明，南京大学文学院教授、博导；曾任教新加坡南洋理工大学、北京大学、北京语言大学、澳门大学等多所国内外高校。徐大明教授从事社会语言学和语言规划学研究，任南京大学中国语言战略研究中心荣誉主任，曾兼任中国社会语言学会副会长、澳门语言学会理事长、国际城市语言学会会长等职。
主题二：城市化中居民语言适应行为研究:以合肥、南京和北京为例（Study on Language Adaptation of Urban Residentsduring Urbanization: Case of Hefei，Nanjing and Beijing）

当今的中国正处在大规模高速度的城市化进程中。当不同民族、不同地区的人口杂居之时，就会出现城市适应行为。本研究选择合肥、南京和北京三个城市为调查对象，并基于问卷和访谈的调查数据，对城市居民的语言适应行为及其特点进行全面考察。调查结果显示，不管是本地居民还是外来移民都存在语言适应行为。这种适应行为体现在宏观语码的选用和微观语言变项的使用方面，其总特点是“趋高避低”。这种“趋高避低”的行为对普通话和方言系统都会产生影响，它会使两个系统中高声望变式逐步扩大使用空间，低声望变式逐渐衰减直到彻底消失。
Abstract: This study focuses on urban language adaptation behavior based on the data collected in Hefei，Nanjing and Beijing． The results show that both local and nonnativeresidents have language adaptation behavior，which exists in their micro-and macrolanguageuse． The tendency of the adaptation is to use the advantageous code or varietyand to avoid the stigmatized one． This leads to subtle change in the systems of Putonghuaand the dialects． The obvious change of language use is the expanding of advantageousvariety and the shrinking of stigmatized one．
主讲人简介：
王玲，语言学博士，南京大学外国语学院博士后。现为南京大学文学院副教授、硕导，教育部语信司中国语言战略研究中心研究员，国际汉语硕士教育中心部主任。2013年-2014年，美国威斯康星麦迪逊大学访问学者；2016年-2019年，美国Emory大学孔子学院中方院长。主要从事社会语言学、城市语言调查和语言规划研究。迄今为止，出版个人专著1部，合著2部，在《语言文字应用》、《语言科学》、《语言教学与研究》、《汉语学习》等语言学核心期刊发表论文20余篇；已负责完成省部级等课题4项，在研项目3项（国家社科、教育部和江苏省社科），参与国家重大项目、省部级项目近10项。
