I．Course Introduction
This course is directed at improving the English competence of the second language learners (non-English speaker). The content of the course covers current studies of listening, speaking, reading and writing and their practice in teaching, as well as vocabulary, grammar and language-content integration. Students will be evaluated by the class report and the paper.
II．Lecturer
Dr. Jill Brown, lady, senior lecturer, starting teaching in Monash University in 1990, has participated in editing the test for Victorian Certificate of Education and compiled many relative teaching materials. With several papers regarding English teaching and teaching method published, Dr. Jill Brown is very experienced in teaching in graduate school.
