On November 5, 2016, Colin Barnett, Assessment Solutions Manager from the British Council, the British-Consulate General Shanghai, held a two-day IELTS Assessment Workshop on the Jiulonghu Campus of Southeast University. Faculty of the School of Foreign Languages participated in this workshop.
The workshop focused on two output language skills of speaking and writing in IELTS. Through interesting group activities, Colin Barnett showed the samples, analyzed the descriptors and explored the solutions so that every participant improved the understanding of IELTS and language skills training. In addition, this workshop provides valuable inspirations to the English teaching and research in general in Southeast University.
The participants devoted themselves wholeheartedly to the workshop sacrificing their weekend rest and were all rejoiced to be conferred with the certificates issued by the British Council.
