The 2016 “FLTRP Cup” English Writing Contest was held in Nanjing Forestry University on Oct. 29th. Lv Qiuchen, Zhang Chuyue and Miao Tianrun participated in the contest on behalf of SEU, with Qiuchen winning the second prize and the latter two winning the third prize respectively. The “FLTRP Cup” English Writing Contest is the only national English writing event in China, attracting thousands of undergraduate students in China since it was first held in 2013. It is co-sponsored by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the National Foreign Language Teaching Advisory Committee, and the National English Major Teaching Advisory Committee under the Ministry of Education.
