Dr Chen Wenxue Won 2018 Zhishan Young Scholar Award

As a young member and lecturer of the School of Foreign Languages, Dr Chen Wenxue came home with all smiles after winning the Zhishan Young Scholar Award program. The Zhishan Young Scholar Program mainly recognizes SEU’s young scholars and their exemplary work of teaching and researching. It aims to provide these recipients with research resources to enhance their research programs and become leading scholars in their field. As one of the level A universities of “first-rate universities” in China, Southeast University is committed to recruiting and cultivating outstanding young top scholars with prominent figure in research, high innovative capabilities, and strong development potential. 

Dr Chen Wenxue graduated from the University of Nottingham, England. Her research interests include task-based language teaching and learning, materials development, and learner interaction. Last year, she also won the ‘Innovative Scholar Award’ by Jiangsu Provincial Government.
