Jin Shu, M.A. in English Linguistics and Literature, a faculty member of School of Foreign Languages, Southeast University since 1997, teaching College English, Academic Communication English, Academic English Writing, Translation, A Comprehensive Experience of Newspaper English, American and British Drama, Speaking in ILETS and TOEFL, English Language and Culture, etc. Professional trainings include TESOL study, Course Design, Language and Culture, and English for Academic Purpose in the UK, the U.S.A and Australia. Fields of study cover literary studies, EAP studies, and English teaching. The first, second, and third prizes were awarded for Best Teaching Award of Southeast University, nationwide Mini-lecture Competition, and the Innovative Practice of English Teaching. Participating in and hosting a dozen of research and innovative teaching projects at provincial and university levels, including “the Construction of Advanced College English Courses in the Context of SPOC”, “A Study on the Flipped Classroom in Academic Communication English”, “A Study on the Structuring of Advanced College English Courses”, “A Study on the Individualized Teaching on the Basis of iTEST Learning and Testing System”, etc. Publications include papers and co-compiled books, such as “An Unsuccessful Trip to the Cultural Origin for Daisy Miller ” , “Developing Students’ Cultural Awareness Through Greek and Roman Mythology”, “Experiencing English – Viewing, Listening & Speaking”, “Academic Communication English”, “Academic English Speaking”, etc.
