Research Interest

Li Lu, professor of translatology, SEU Translation Research Institute. His research covers the areas of EST, technical translation, computer-aided translation and so on. He has published over 50 research papers in such journals as Foreign Languages Teaching and Research, Chinese Translators Journal, Chinese Science & Technology Translators Journal, Shanghai Translators Journal, Talent Exploration, Shandong Foreign Languages Journal, Foreign Languages and Translation, Journal of Southeast University, or in proceedings. He has also coauthored 12 books.

Biographical Information

Li Lu, born in Jinan in 1957, worked as technical English translator from 1982 to 1985 after college graduation, and taught at Zhengjiang Tourist  School from 1985 to 1988. From 1988 to 1990, he studied in Xi’an Jiaotong University as a postgraduate majoring in applied linguistics and technical translation. He is now responsible for the graduate courses of Technical Translation Theory & Practice, Computer-aided Translation, Technical Writing, etc.
