On September 2nd, consisting of 3 teachers and 20 students, delegation of Japanese Aichi Institute of Technology came to SFL for a visit.
At two pm, the delegation arrived at Jiulonghu campus accompanied by teachers and students from Japanese department. After having a cordial and lively talk with students from Japanese department, they visited the campus, our foreign language school and library, etc.
Seven pm witnessed the much- anticipated exchange meeting which was hosted by Wang Jingyu, from Japanese department of our school and Hirai Ichiro, from Aichi Institute of Technology. At the beginning of the party, the sophomores of Japanese Department lit the enthusiasm of all by performing the song New the Drunken Beauty, followed by their well-prepared some other classical songs .Those songs, together with games such as Drawing Solitaire and A List of Questions to Answer performed by students from Aichi Institute of Technology endowed students with both pleasure of the mind and knowledge.
The final game koans pushed the party to its climax with creative vocabulary and funny performances, enabling teachers and students from both sides to harvest friendship in the laughter. After the meeting, students from the two sides exchanged elaborate gifts and took pictures.
For the following days, students from our Japanese department would accompany the delegation to visit Nanjing's famous places of interest, namely Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, Confucius temple, etc.
