On December 24th, 2014, the Christmas Eve of the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) was held in Jiao Tingbiao Hall.
The party was hosted by the Communist Youth League Committee of SFL. Chen Meihua, dean of SEL, Ma Qiang, school Party secretary and other leaders Liu Kehua, Ma Dongmei and Zhu Shanhua were present. Teachers from each department, some foreign teachers and international students also attended this party.
At 18:30, the party started with a beautiful song by a student singer You Zixian. Then Band Mustard presented the gorgeous opening show, followed by the modern dance “Dangerous Maniac”, the medley of rock music and indie pop music, the hilarious comedy by G-Drama, the beautiful runway show. All the performances brought great enjoyment to the audience.
The party came to a climax with the dancing of the dean and other heads of Students’ Union of SFL. Then the teacher representatives delivered their best wishes for Christmas in several languages.
There were also interesting games arranged to add more happiness to the party. “Mind acts upon mind” brought merry laughter while the lucky draw attracted spectators not only for the awards of Kindle and Lego bricks but for a sense of mystery.
At 21 o’clock, two “Santa Clauses” began to throw candies to the audience. The party came to an end withwarm and happy memory in everyone’s mind.
