The heads of off-campus practice bases were invited to a new year tea party held by the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) on Sipailou Campus of SEU on Jan 25, 2015.
Present at the party were 16 distinguished guests from 9 enterprises and institutions, including International Exchange Service Center of Jiangsu Education Department, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Nanjing Research Institute of Huawei Technology Co., Ltd and Jiangsu Engineering Technology Translation Co., Ltd. The new leadership group of SFL attended the party.
First a grand contract signing ceremony was held, and then Prof. Chen Meihua, dean of SFL, delivered a welcome speech. “Thank you all for your continuous support and generous help,” said Prof. Chen. “I hope our friendship and collaboration endures forever”.
Guo Qing, director of MTI Center, introduced the center’s recent work and plan to the participants. The heads of the 9 practice bases reported the interns’ performance and proposed suggestions for the talents training of SFL.
In the end, Ma Qiang, secretary of School Party Committee, expressed his sincere thanks to all the guests present here for their participation and guidance in our internship program. “I hope this tea party can be a good start for our further development and integration of industries, universities and research institutes,” he said.
Deputy deans Liu Kehua and Zhu Shanhua, deputy secretary Tang Dinghua, Prof. Zheng Yuqi and Prof. Gao Shengbing also showed up at the party.
