On April 25, 2015, SoutheastUniversity hosted the Regional Knockout Competition (Jiangsu and Anhui) of the 4th Chinese National Interpreting Skills Competition, which was jointly organized by the Center for Language Service Competence Assessment and Training (Translators’ Association of China) and the School of Foreign Languages, SoutheastUniversity.
This competition invited penal of judges comprised of over twenty experienced educators from various cities of Jiangsu Province and attracted record number of contestants--109 students from more than 40 higher education institutions in Jiangsu and Anhui. YANG Yu from China University of Mining and Technology came out first in the competition. Winners of this regional competition will compete in the Eastern China Knockout Competition.
