Brief Introduction of Discipline:


The Master of Applied Linguistics is a full-time programme jointly offered by the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics of Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and the School of Foreign Languages of Southeast University in Nanjing, China. The programme is designed for those seeking either career or progression in English education, which intends to provide up-to-date theories and methodologies in English teaching and research, highlight a multi-disciplinary approach and an international perspective with emphasis on English education in China, so as to enable postgraduates to be well equipped with the professional knowledge and skills in English teaching and research, and the competence to meet the social and economical needs in different business and cultural sectors.


Description:

The objectives of the jointly-offered programme are to cultivate postgraduates with an international perspective and cross-culture communicative competence who will be suitable for both language teaching and business and cultural sectors.

Training Period:
